About this course
This course will expand upon four pillars of faith. Belief in Allah, His oneness, and Divine decree was the focus of Aqeedah I; this course will focus on faith in His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day. (3 credit hours)
About the Instructor(s)

Br Justin Parrott teaches courses in Islamic Creed at Mishkah University. Br Justin has BAs in Physics and English from Otterbein University, an MLIS from Kent State University, and an MRes in Islamic Studies from the University of Wales. He is currently the Associate Librarian for Middle East Studies at New York University in Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and Research Fellow for Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research.
Br Justin embraced Islam in 2004 at the age of 20. He studied Islam from a traditional perspective with local scholars and Imams. He served as a volunteer Imam for the Islamic Society of Greater Columbus until 2013.
He is currently the faculty advisor and volunteer Imam for the Muslim Students Association at NYUAD.

Rizwan Ali is currently the Imam and Religious Director of the Islamic Center of Naperville. He was born and raised in Glen Ellyn, IL. He completed his bachelor’s degree from Benedictine University in Social Sciences and a minor in Secondary Education. He completed his master’s degree from Saint Xavier University in Curriculum and Instruction. He completed his doctorate in Educational Leadership at Creighton University. His dissertation focused on the experiences of Islamic school graduates in the Chicagoland area.
He has completed a degree in Shariah from Al Azhar University in Cairo. He is also the Director of Islamic Studies at the College Preparatory School of America (CPSA) in Lombard. He is also a committee member of the ISNA Educational Forum. He also serves as a Chaplain with the Naperville Police Department. He is married and has three daughters
