Job Opening: High School Academic Supervisor
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated High School Academic Supervisor to oversee and manage the academic affairs of our high school program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Islamic studies, excellent teaching and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and administrators.
Location: Houston, TX
Job Type:
- Part time – 25 hours per week maximum.
- 1099 basis and annual contract, with possibility of conversion to W-2 basis depending on institutional needs.
- Hybrid: Onsite at the Mishkah campus (upon building completion) and remotely.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the academic affairs of the high school program, including curriculum development, course offerings, and teaching processes
- Ensure consistency with the program’s goal of making college-level courses academically accessible to high school students
- Evaluate teacher performance and provide academic support to ensure high-quality instruction
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure academic excellence and integrity
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and staff to achieve program goals and objectives
- Provide academic guidance and support to high school teachers and students
- Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to promote the program

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Ph.D. preferred) in Islamic studies or a related field
- Proven experience teaching high school students (9-12 grades) in the USA
- Strong knowledge of Islamic studies and curriculum development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, teachers, and administrators
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with educational software and technology
- Resident of Houston, TX (or willing to relocate/commute), with no restrictions on work permission in the USA
