BA in Islamic Studies in English

The Bachelor’s program is a full Islamic studies program in English and consists of 48 courses including general education and electives (128 credits). It offers 43 core courses worth 116 credits from a wide range of departments including Arabic language, Quranic studies, hadith, spirituality, manners, Islamic theology, comparative religion, Islamic law, Islamic legal theory, Islamic history and civilization, Islamic thought, pedagogy and dawah. The program requires a student to take two general education courses (6 credits) and three electives (6 credits). The following table outlines the courses taught in the program:
