Sh Abdelrahman Badawy teaches Fiqh of Worship at Mishkah University. He earned his BA in Islamic Law and Legal Theory, as well as his Associate in the Arabic Language, from Umm al Qura University. He is currently pursuing his MA in Islamic Studies at Mishkah University.
Sh Abdelrahman serves as the resident Imam and Scholar at MAS Brooklyn and Staten Island. He has been actively involved in his community and beyond, teaching courses on Islam and offering spiritual guidance. Passionate about the youth, he has taken the lead in various initiatives focused on the mentorship and development of young Muslims.
Sh Abdelrahman also holds a CELTA qualification from Cambridge for teaching English as a foreign language and has years of experience working with non-native speakers. He has also edited and translated Islamic works in Arabic into English for publishers such as Dar Us Salam Publications and the International Islamic Publishing House (IIPH).
