Sh. Rizwan Ali is currently the Imam and Religious Director of the Islamic Center of Naperville. He was born and raised in Glen Ellyn, IL. He completed his bachelor’s degree from Benedictine University in Social Sciences, with a minor in Secondary Education. He earned his master’s degree from Saint Xavier University in Curriculum and Instruction. He also holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Creighton University. His dissertation focused on the experiences of Islamic school graduates in the Chicagoland area.
Sh Rizwan also has a degree in Shariah from Al Azhar University in Cairo. He is the Director of Islamic Studies at the College Preparatory School of America (CPSA) in Lombard, as well as a committee member of the ISNA Educational Forum. He also serves as a Chaplain with the Naperville Police Department.
He is married and has three daughters.
