Dr Tahir Wyatt
Dr Tahir Wyatt will be teaching Islamic Creed at Mishkah University. He holds a Ph.D in Theology from the Islamic University of Medinah, KSA with the highest classification (mumtaz), an M.A. in Aqeedah, a B.A. in the Science of Hadith and Islamic Studies, and an Associate in Arabic.
Dr Wyatt is a highly experienced and established academic, speaker, interpreter, and instructor of Islamic studies and comparative religion. He studied and taught in Saudia Arabia for 21 years, and earned the distinction of being the first person ever to be appointed to teach in Islam in English in the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
Dr. Wyatt delivers lectures across the globe, and is currently the president of the Quran, Arabic, and Reflection Institute (QARI), which is dedicated to structured, curriculum-based instruction of the Quran and Arabic Language. He also serves at Yaqeen Institute as the Director of the Systematic Theology department, and as an Associate Editor on Yaqeen’s Editorial Review Board. He is also the director of Islamic Education at the United Muslim Masjid in Philadelphia. He has published as well as translated several academic works.
