Two New High Schools Begin Dual Enrollment Program
All praise is due to Allah.
We are pleased to announce that two new high schools have launched the Dual Enrollment Program with Mishkah University this fall.
Students at Toledo Islamic Academy in Sylvania, Ohio and Miftaahul Uloom Academy in Union City, New Jersey will now be able to pursue an Associates Degree in Islamic Studies at Mishkah University while they are still in high school.
Both schools have established themselves as leaders in Islamic education in their communities and we look forward to collaborating with them in serving the youth inshaAllah.
Through the program, students engage in rigorous college level courses, setting a strong foundation for their future engagement in Islamic Studies. Al-Amal School in Minnesota piloted the program and the first batch of students from the program graduated and received their Associates degrees last Spring.
How the Dual Program Helps Our Muslim Youth
Training and nurturing our youth to be upstanding and responsible Muslims has to begin at a young age. Our authentic curriculum enables them to study various facets of the Islamic Sciences while they navigate growing from teenagers into young adults.
In the times and environment that we live in, receiving the right education is essential to not only strengthening their Islamic Identity, but also offering them the tools to stick to the right and middle path of guidance.
We ask Allah to protect and guide our youth and increase them in knowledge.
