Ustadh Hamzah Raza
Ust Hamzah Raza teaches Islamic Apologetics at Mishkah University. He is currently completing his PhD in Religious Studies at the University of Cape Town and is also enrolled in the Alimiyyah Program at Al Azhar Seminary. Sh Hamzah earned a Master of Theological Studies with a concentration in Islamic Studies from the Harvard Divinity School, and a BA in Religious Studies from Vanderbilt University, where he received the highest honors for his Senior Thesis.As an Islamic Studies instructor, he has taught diverse groups of students from around the world various subjects including Arabic and Islamic History. Ust. Hamzah has written for several publications – his work includes articles on the application of Islamic law within the modern context, as well as current issues that impact the Muslim community. He has also edited articles on Islamic history, jurisprudence, and legal theory.
